Acropolis Oceanfront Resort

We had a great experience here! We loved our oceanfront balcony with kitchenette, the poolside bar, easy access to the beach, and great customer service. We would stay here again!

Our family had a great stay! We will come back for sure. You cant beat the location, nice large pool for adults and baby pool for the littles, and very attentive and friendly staff. The ocean is steps away and walking distance to the boardwalk. We even had a bonus dj spinning fun music on Saturday by the pool!

My son and I stayed here for a few days. The location is wonderful- close to the beach compared to other hotels on the strip- and the pool is large and clean. Great spot if you love a retro, mom and pop hotel feel.

This amazing hotel came to our rescue after we booked at another place and it was an absolute dump. The Acropolis is right on the ocean, with amazing views and a beautiful pool. The bar area is great and friendly and the staff are amazing and go above and beyond. The rooms are dated but clean. We were traveling with my teenage son and needed a separate area for him to sleep and this place was perfect. Very old school vibes. Jennifer, the owner, is so friendly and accommodating.

My family stayed at this lovely hotel for the first time In July of 2025. I was very nervous because I had read the reviews leading up to my stay, which were terrible. I am here to say that the horrible reviews that people write about this place are unfounded. This hotel is lovely! It is an amazing spot and view. The owners are wonderful and were nothing but helpful and sweet to us. One of the biggest complaints that people had was the air conditioning not working well. I’m not sure what that’s all about , because our room was comfortable and the air worked great. We like extra air flow, so we asked for fans, and they gave us two nice box fans. No problems. People must not realize that the air conditioning can only cool so much. If it’s 90 degrees and humid outside, and the AC gets your room to 70, that’s awesome! The room was very clean. There is a cute little restaurant in the hotel that is convenient. The pool is huge and very well maintained. We also enjoyed the DJ at the pool the weekend we were there. The elevator works great, no issues whatsoever. If you prefer, most of us Americans can stand some exercise and you can use the stairs. It’s a typical beach front Jersey shore hotel. The people that write the terrible reviews must be expecting a top of the line 1000 dollar a night hotel in NYC. It was such a nice experience that my sister booked herself a room and came down and joined us for the last few days. It was reasonably priced. We had two teenagers with us, and the extra room in the family suite was crucial. We will definitely be back next year! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Just went to the crows nest restaurant only, But the resort looked like a great place to stay, clean, had a pool, beachfront

Wake up to a beautiful sunrise every morning right on the beach. Enjoy a large pool with a poolside bar for your favorite drinks, plus plenty of parking for guests. The helpful front desk staff make check-in a breeze. Out front, the seawall walkway stretches for miles—head northwest to the business bar district or stroll down to the Boardwalk for shops and entertainment.

I recently stayed here two weeks and we had a great time. You can not find a better view of the ocean. The pool is one of the biggest in the area. There is a DJ there on the weekend and the pool bar is open everyday. The staff was very friendly and hands on. The cleaning staff was fabulous and did a fantastic job. It is at a great location to get to 2nd street beach. The room was clean and the had good space. It is an older hotel but good value for being right on the beach. We had great parking and always had a parking spot. There is a small dinner right across the street we went to for breakfast . We plan on going back.
